I have spent the last eleven years working for an FDA Regulated Multinational Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation as a Customs Specialist where I am currently at Principal Customs and Trade Compliance Specialist level
I brought Customs Brokerage and Compliance into our business where we are completely independent of Customs Brokers. It is extremely rare to see a Manufacturing Company take ownership for all of their customs activities, in particular, Brokerage. This level of control has allowed me to introduce multiple successful and highly beneficial Customs Processes and Economic Procedures into our Supply Chain and Business in general.
It has resulted in a very strong relationship with mutual respect with Senior Customs Officials in Ireland
My Customs Trade Compliance knowledge and experience from not only the Customs Brokerage and Consultants viewpoint but also more importantly from the manufacturers viewpoint is something that I feel passionate about sharing. While Customs Brokers and Customs Consultants have their own traditional and unique skill sets, they do not have the detailed insight into how Customs Trade Compliance operates at it's optimum efficiency inside a dynamic and complicated Multinational Manufacturing and Supply Chain environment

There is a high dependence on Customs Brokers and Consultants to provide Customs Compliance and Brokerage services. My objective with the various courses I will upload to Udemy over the coming months, is to give students enough knowledge to either introduce or enhance a Customs Compliance function within your organisation or for Customs Brokers to widen their knowledge of Customs Trade Compliance from a manufacturers viewpoint allowing you to offer an enhanced offering to your customers.
Opportunities in the area of Customs Trade Compliance can be identified that will bring significant improvements to both Supply Chain Processes and Financial Budgets.
My aim is to provide interesting and instructive lectures complete with demonstrative examples where appropriate that will not only explain Customs Processes and Economic Procedures from a Customs Brokerage perspective, but more importantly, the complete journey that Customs Processes and Economic Procedures take through the Manufacturing Supply Chain process.
